VNIT Nagpur, a premier technical institute of national importance, is inviting applications from eligible and motivated candidates for various research positions under the TTDF-supported project titled “Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Assisted Integrated Sensing and Communication for 6G Networks.” The project offers a vibrant opportunity for candidates to contribute to cutting-edge research in 6G wireless communication, with possibilities for future Ph.D. enrollment based on performance.
Job Details:
1.Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 02
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (First Class) in ECE/EE/CSE or related branches and/or M.E./M.Tech. in ECE/EE/CSE or related branches. GATE qualification in the past is required.
Salary: ₹37,000/- p.m. (First 2 years), ₹42,000/- p.m. (3rd year)
2. Post Name: Project Associate
No. of Vacancies: 03
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (First Class) in ECE/EE/CSE or related branches with CGPA > 8.0 or 75%.
Salary: ₹25,000/- p.m. (First 2 years), ₹28,000/- p.m. (3rd year)
3. Post Name: Assistant
No. of Vacancies: 01
Qualification: Any Graduate degree with proficiency in English. Prior experience in a similar technical role is desirable.
Salary: ₹20,000/- p.m. consolidated
Vacancy:
Total of 6 vacancies: 2 JRF, 3 Project Associates, and 1 Assistant
Qualification:
For JRF: B.Tech/M.Tech in relevant branches with GATE qualification
For Project Associate: First class B.Tech with CGPA > 8.0 or 75%
For Assistant: Graduate with good English and relevant experience

Last Date to Apply: May 15, 2025
Duration of Appointment:
Initially for 6 months, extendable up to 3 years or project completion (whichever is earlier) based on satisfactory performance
