The Uttarakhand State Planning Commission functions under the Planning Department of the Government of Uttarakhand. The Commission has announced vacancies for three important positions within the GIS Cell, to be filled on an open market contractual basis.

1. Post Name: GIS Specialist

Department: GIS Cell, Planning Department

Qualification: M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS or M.Sc. with PG Diploma in RS & GIS, with minimum 3 years of experience
Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month (fixed remuneration)

2. Post Name: Manager IT

Department: GIS Cell, Planning Department
Number of Vacancies: 01
Qualification: M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS or M.Sc. with PG Diploma in RS & GIS, with minimum 1 year of experience
Salary: ₹50,000 per month (fixed remuneration)

3. Post Name: GIS Technician

Department: GIS Cell, Planning Department
Number of Vacancies: 02
Qualification: M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS or PG Diploma in RS & GIS
Salary: ₹25,000 per month (fixed remuneration)

Qualification:

Applicants must possess M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS or M.Sc. with PG Diploma in RS & GIS. Relevant experience of 1 to 3 years is mandatory for GIS Specialist and Manager IT posts. No prior experience is required for GIS Technician post.
