The Uttarakhand Landslide Mitigation and Management Center (ULMMC) is an autonomous institution functioning under the Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department, Government of Uttarakhand, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
ULMMC plays a vital role in landslide mitigation, slope stabilization, disaster risk reduction, flood protection measures, and infrastructure safety in hilly terrains of Uttarakhand.
Invitation of Applications
ULMMC invites applications from qualified, experienced, and deserving Indian citizens for appointment to various technical and support positions on the basis of Deputation or Contractual engagement, as per applicable Government Orders (G.O.).
Vacancy Details
A total of 08 posts are to be filled under this recruitment drive:
1. Chief Consultant – 01 Post (UR)
Mode of Recruitment: Deputation / Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
Post Graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering / Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Slope Stabilization, including Landslide Mitigation and Flood Protection Measures
Experience of working in hilly terrain will be given preference
Salary:
As per departmental scale or ₹2,50,000 per month (Consolidated)
2. Principal Consultant – 01 Post (SC)
Mode of Recruitment: Deputation / Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
PG in Geotechnical Engineering / Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering / Structural Engineering
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Landslide Mitigation projects
Salary:
As per departmental scale or ₹2,00,000 per month (Consolidated)
3. IT Expert – 01 Post (SC)
Mode of Recruitment: Departmental / Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
B.Tech (IT / Computer Science) or MCA
Minimum 4 years of experience in Server Handling and Website Management
Salary:
As per departmental scale or ₹60,000 per month (Consolidated)
4. Geologist – 01 Post (SC)
Mode of Recruitment: Departmental / Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
Post Graduate degree in Geology
Minimum 5 years of experience in Slope Stabilization
Salary:
As per departmental scale or ₹80,000 per month (Consolidated)
5. AutoCAD Expert – 01 Post (SC)
Mode of Recruitment: Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Civil Engineering with proficiency in CAD Design
Minimum 5 years of post-diploma experience
Salary:
As per departmental scale or ₹40,000 per month (Consolidated)
6. Design Engineer – 01 Post (UR)
Mode of Recruitment: Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
PG in Geotechnical Engineering / Structural Engineering / Hydrology Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
Salary:
₹90,000 per month (Consolidated)
7. MPW (Multi-Purpose Worker) – 02 Posts
Category: UR–01, SC–01
Mode of Recruitment: Contractual
Essential Qualification & Experience:
Intermediate (10+2)
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience
Salary:
₹15,000 per month (Consolidated)
Reservation Policy
Reservation benefits shall be applicable only to permanent residents of Uttarakhand. Candidates must possess a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority of Uttarakhand State.

Maximum age limit for engagement is 65 years, as per Uttarakhand Government G.O. dated 20 February 2013.
Experience gained after acquiring minimum qualification will only be considered.
