Position 1: Project Assistant

Project Title:
Hydrological Investigation and Climatic Trend Analysis of a Lesser Himalayan Forested Henval River Catchment, Tehri

• Vacancy: 01 Post

• Tenure: 10 months (Contractual)

• Monthly Salary: ₹25,000 (Consolidated)

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Forestry, Hydrology, Water Resources, Environmental Science, Botany, Geography, or relevant fields.

• Preference: Experience in hydrology, GIS, remote sensing, or field data collection.

• Skills: MS Office, GIS tools, data analysis, technical writing.

• Good command of English and willingness to work in field conditions.

Position 2: Field Assistant

Project Title:
Climate-Induced Species Distribution and Invasion Dynamics of Chir Pine and Oak Forests Using MaxEnt Modelling and Remote Sensing

• Vacancy: 01 Post

• Tenure: 10 months (Contractual)

• Monthly Salary: ₹15,000 (Consolidated)

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s in Botany, Forestry, Environmental Science, Zoology, or similar disciplines.

• Preference: Field survey experience in forested regions.

• Must be physically fit for fieldwork in difficult terrain.
