Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2026 | Multiple Registry Posts Announced

The Supreme Court of India has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for preparing a panel to fill 22 vacancies in different cadres in the Registry. Interested candidates can apply online from 23 February 2026 to 08 March 2026.

1️⃣ Assistant Editor, Supreme Court Reports

💰 Pay Level: Level 12 (₹78,800 Basic + Allowances)
🎂 Age Limit: 30–40 years

🎓 Essential Qualification:

• Law Degree recognized by Bar Council of India
  OR

• Member of English Bar
  OR

• Attorney of High Court

• Computer knowledge mandatory

📚 Experience (Any One):

• 3 years Advocate practice (High Court/Supreme Court)
  OR

• 3 years Judicial Post
  OR

• 3 years Law Research experience
  OR

• 3 years as Law Reporter/Editorial Staff
  OR

• 3 years Lecturer in Law
  OR

• 7 years service (4 years Class-II Gazetted in SC/HC)

📝 Selection Process:

• Written Test (Part A + Part B) – 200 Marks

• Interview – 25 Marks

2️⃣ Assistant Director (Ex-cadre), Supreme Court Museum

💰 Pay Level: Level 11 (₹67,700 Basic + Allowances)
🎂 Age Limit: 30–40 years

🎓 Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Museology (1st Class)

• Knowledge of Indian antiquities & museum techniques

• Computer knowledge

📚 Experience:

• 5 years research experience with published work

📝 Selection:

• Written Test – 100 Marks

• Computer Test (Qualifying)

• Interview – 25 Marks

3️⃣ Senior Court Assistant (Ex-cadre), Supreme Court Museum

💰 Pay Level: Level 8 (₹47,600 Basic + Allowances)
🎂 Upper Age Limit: 35 years

🎓 Qualification:

• Master’s in Museology (Minimum 55%)

• Computer knowledge

📚 Experience:

• 2 years research experience
  OR

• 2 years as Assistant Curator or above

• Written Test – 100 Marks

• Computer Test

• Interview – 25 Marks

4️⃣ Assistant Librarian

🎂 Upper Age Limit: 30 years

🎓 Qualification:

• Degree in Library Science

• Diploma in Computer Application (AICTE/DOEACC)

• Knowledge of Library Automation Software

• 2 years experience in University/Law Library

• Computer Test – 100 Marks

• Interview – 25 Marks
