📌 Vacancy Details

SAIL is hiring sports coaches for the following disciplines:
🔹 Hockey – 1 Post
🔹 Badminton – 1 Post
🔹 Basketball – 1 Post
🔹 Boxing – 1 Post
🔹 Cricket – 1 Post

📌 Maximum Age Limit: 64 years (as on 06.03.2025)

📌 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

Candidates must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit (as on 06.03.2025):

✔ Maximum age should not exceed 64 years.
✔ Age relaxation will be applicable as per SAIL norms.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

✔ Candidates must have a Diploma or Higher Degree in Sports Coaching from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS).
✔ Preference will be given to candidates who have won medals or participated in National or International Sports Events.
✔ A minimum of 15 years of coaching experience in the respective sports discipline is required.

📌 Selection Process

The recruitment will be based on a Walk-in Interview at Biju Patnaik Hockey Stadium, Sector-5, Rourkela.

📅 Interview Date: April 4, 2025
⏰ Reporting Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Candidates must carry their original documents along with a self-attested set of photocopies for verification.

📌 Salary Structure

✔ Candidates with a Diploma in Sports Coaching will receive ₹28,000/- per month.
✔ Medal winners at National Sports Events will be offered ₹32,000/- per month.
✔ Medal winners at International Sports Events will be offered ₹36,000/- per month.

📌 Working Hours: 6 hours per day, 6 days a week.

📌 Benefits & Facilities

✔ Company Accommodation: Available on a payment basis (subject to availability).
✔ Medical Benefits: Applicable for ex-SAIL employees and limited benefits for others.
✔ Leave: Eligible for 10 days leave per year with prior approval.
