Join ROOTS Pulses, a fast-growing name in the FMCG and food processing industry, as a Plant Manager. We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee end-to-end operations, ensure production excellence, and drive a culture of quality and safety.

Position: Plant Manager

Industry: Pulses / FMCG Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily plant operations ensuring product quality, availability, and customer satisfaction

• Lead cross-functional coordination with Engineering, QA, Sales, and Planning teams

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with company growth goals

• Track and optimize KPIs: OEE, downtime, waste reduction, cost efficiency

• Enforce full compliance with HACCP, GMP, HSE, and hygiene standards

• Drive a zero-incident safety culture through inspections, PPE compliance, and training

• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, and improve workflows

• Lead team performance through goal setting, reviews, and training initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in FMCG manufacturing or plant management

• Strong exposure to lean manufacturing, team leadership, and process optimization

• Preferred Certifications: CPIM, Six Sigma, HACCP, GMP, ISO Lead Auditor

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), MS Excel, Power BI, and production planning tools

• Knowledge of OEE, TPM, and quality control frameworks

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure FMCG environments
