The Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG) is an autonomous institution functioning under the Planning Department, Government of Uttarakhand. CPPGG is a knowledge-driven think tank focusing on policy planning, effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of government programs. Under the Government of India’s Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS) scheme, CPPGG is inviting applications for temporary engagement of interns/apprentices for GIS data collection and analysis at the block level across Uttarakhand. This internship is aimed at enhancing grassroots data quality and supporting geospatial policy initiatives.

Job Details:

CPPGG is looking to engage qualified GIS Interns/Apprentices for a period of 6 months. The interns will be placed across various blocks (1 intern per 2 blocks or 2 interns per 3 blocks as required). They will be responsible for GIS-based data collection, analysis, and reporting in coordination with the GIS Cell.

Stipend – ₹10,000/- per month + TA/DA as per requirement

Qualification:

Applicants must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS, Urban Planning, or Computer Science. Diploma holders in Civil or Computer Science disciplines are also eligible. Proficiency in GIS tools is mandatory. Applicants must possess a GIS-enabled laptop or tablet for field use.
