Mode of Recruitment: Deputation / Absorption basis
Duration: Five years (subject to government’s approval for exemption from rule of immediate absorption)
Pay Scale:

• On Deputation: Parent pay plus deputation allowance

• On Absorption: IDA Pay Scale ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000/- (E-8 Level)
  Eligibility Criteria:

• Officers holding posts in analogous grade (CDA/IDA) OR

• Level-13 (CDA) officers with minimum 17 years in Group ‘A’ service OR

• Officers in IDA E-7 scale ₹1,00,000–₹2,60,000 with at least 4 years of service
  Preferred Experience:

• Candidates with experience in railway/metro construction projects will be given preference
  Age Limit:

• Deputation: Below 58 years

• Absorption: Not above 57 years (age relaxation may be considered in deserving cases)

Qualification Detail

Candidates must be serving IRSE officers or equivalent with relevant civil engineering background. They must currently hold analogous posts or have qualifying service as mentioned under eligibility criteria. Preference will be given to those with experience in large-scale construction organizations, especially in the rail sector.
