Educational Qualification (Detailed)

• Candidates must possess an MBA degree with specialization in Urban Management, Marketing, or Project Management.
• Alternatively, candidates with an MBA having relevant subjects in these domains are also eligible.
• Applicants with a Post Graduate Degree in Public Administration or Public Policy from a recognized university or institution in India can also apply.

Experience Required 

• Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in handling government projects at the state or national level.
• Out of this, at least 5 years of experience should be in managing key urban projects at the state government level or implementing large-scale projects of state government departments.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs)

• Familiarity with Uttarakhand state demography

• Experience in Swachh Survekshan, MIS, and IEC activities

• Experience in capacity building and event management

• Preference will be given to Uttarakhand residents

Job Responsibilities

• The Program Manager will assist the Director of the Urban Development Directorate in project formulation and monitoring.
• The role includes supporting Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in executing urban development projects, particularly Swachh Survekshan and capacity building programs.
• The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating ongoing projects and providing technical inputs for departmental activities.
• Coordination with stakeholders at national, state, and district levels will be a key responsibility.
• The role also involves organizing large-scale events, branding urban projects, and developing innovative strategies for project success.
• Frequent field visits across hilly and plain districts of Uttarakhand will be required for on-ground monitoring.
• Additionally, the candidate will assist in preparing RFP, EOI, and GeM bidding documents when required.
