National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) is the flagship program under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, for the rejuvenation, conservation, and sustainable development of the Ganga River. It focuses on sewage infrastructure, surface cleaning, afforestation, public awareness, and industrial effluent management. The mission also promotes integrated river basin management and is a vital component of India’s water sustainability and environmental strategy.

Job Details:

• Post Name: Consultant (Sewage Expert – Grade 2)

• No. of Posts: 03 (Three)

• Location: New Delhi

• Mode of Recruitment: Contractual basis (initially for 1 year, extendable)

• Job Responsibilities:

  • Support in review/appraisal of Concept Notes, Feasibility Reports, DPRs for sewerage projects.

  • Conduct site visits and monitor project implementation and O&M of STP plants.

Qualification & Experience:

• Essential Qualification:

  • Graduation in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.

• Desirable Qualification:

  • ME/M.Tech in Structural or Environmental Engineering.

• Experience:

  • 8–15 years in planning, design, construction, or supervision of sewage/STP projects.

  • Preferred experience with sewage treatment plants of 10 MLD or above.

  • Familiarity with emerging sewage treatment technologies.

Remuneration:

• Salary: ₹1,25,000 – ₹1,75,000 per month (initial pay at lower end of range)
