NIT Uttarakhand, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for appointment as Temporary Faculty in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering for the academic year 2025–26. The faculty engagement will be in hybrid mode and is purely temporary.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Essential:

    • Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant discipline

    • First Class (minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5/10) at both UG and PG levels from a recognized University/Institute

  • Desirable:

    • Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D. from NITs, IITs, Central Universities, or institutes ranked under NIRF

Salary:

  • 80,000/- per month (Consolidated) for candidates with Ph.D. in the relevant field.

  • The appointment is purely temporary and will not lead to permanent employment.

  • The institute reserves the right to cancel/postpone the recruitment process without assigning any reason.

  • No TA/DA will be provided.

  • Selection is based on interview + presentation.
