Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar invites applications for one (01) position of Project Associate-I in the Department of Chemistry under a research project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) – SERB (EMEQ). This is a temporary research position for a high-impact project on Smart Wettability Surfaces for Droplet-Based Sensing and Self-Cleaning Applications.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry or an equivalent discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale).

  • NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.

Desirable Skills

Candidates with research experience in:

  • Fabrication of wettability surfaces

  • Droplet motility and self-cleaning applications

  • Surface chemistry and material science

will be preferred.

Age Limit

  • Upper age limit: 28 years (as of the date of selection).

  • Age relaxation will be applicable as per DST-SERB and Government of India norms.
