Thematic Areas & Eligibility Criteria

1️⃣ Farm Livelihoods (Agriculture & Allied Sectors)

NRPs will provide technical support in the following sub-themes:

• Sustainable & Agro-Ecological Agriculture

• Livestock Management

• Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP)

• Value Chain & Business Development

• Bamboo-Based Livelihoods

• Beekeeping

• Fisheries & Aquaculture

• Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (MAPs)

• High-Value Horticulture & Spices

Eligibility Criteria:

• Postgraduate degree in relevant disciplines (Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Rural Development, etc.).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in livelihood development projects, community-based agriculture, or enterprise promotion.

• Desirable: Experience in organic farming, climate-resilient agriculture, value chain interventions, certification, and marketing.

2️⃣ Non-Farm Livelihoods (Enterprise Development & Rural Business Promotion)

NRPs will support entrepreneurship and business development in areas such as:

• Enterprise Promotion & Business Development

• Food Processing & Food Service Enterprises

• Handicrafts & Handlooms

• Rural Tourism

• Sales & Marketing (Retail & E-Commerce)

• Product Designing, Branding & Packaging

• Rural Services

Eligibility Criteria:

• Postgraduate degree (MBA, Rural Management, Business Administration, Agribusiness, etc.).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in rural enterprise development, MSMEs, or entrepreneurship promotion.

• Desirable: Experience in market linkages, branding, supply chain management, and digital marketing.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on qualifications & experience.

• Written test/interview at NIRDPR Hyderabad (only shortlisted candidates will be called).

• Final empanelment based on interview performance.

📌 No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

Remuneration & Terms

• NRPs will be engaged for a maximum of 10 days per month (subject to demand).

• The payment structure will depend on the level of assignment and the NIRDPR-NRLM guidelines.

• The empanelment does not guarantee regular employment.
