Job Details:

Mizoram University invites applications for the following positions under an ICSSR, New Delhi funded research project titled “Sustainable Livelihood Options and Strategies among Rural Community in Mizoram.”

1. Research Associate

   • No. of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (minimum 55%) with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D., and two years of research experience as a Research Assistant in any project.

   • Desirable Qualification: Research experience in projects and proficiency in SPSS.

   • Duration: 2 Months

   • Monthly Emolument: ₹47,000

2. Research Assistant

   • No. of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (minimum 55%) with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D.

   • Desirable Qualification: Research experience in projects and proficiency in SPSS.

   • Duration: 2 Months

   • Monthly Emolument: ₹37,000

3. Field Investigator

   • No. of Posts: 1

   • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (minimum 55%)

   • Desirable Qualification: Research experience in projects and proficiency in Excel.

   • Duration: 2 Months

   • Monthly Emolument: ₹20,000

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have the required qualifications as mentioned for each post.

• Proficiency in software like SPSS (for Research Associate and Research Assistant) and Excel (for Field Investigator) is preferred.
