Faculty Recruitment (Regular Positions)

Applications are invited for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in the following disciplines:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Information Technology

• Electrical and Computer Engineering

• Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering

• Internet of Things (IoT)

• Humanities

Pay Scales (7th CPC)

• Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200

• Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100

• Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400

Reservation norms (UR, OBC, SC, ST) are applicable as per MITS-DU rules.

Non-Teaching Staff Recruitment (Under Self-Finance as per MITS-DU Norms)

The following non-teaching positions are available:

• Student Counsellor (Female) – 1 Post

• Sport Officer (Female) – 1 Post

• Personal Assistant (PA) – 1 Post

Pay Scale

• Student Counsellor / Sport Officer: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500

• Personal Assistant (PA): ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400

Professor of Practice (Contractual)

• Open category appointment

• Maximum 10% of sanctioned posts

• At present, only candidates from Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence will be considered

• Remuneration will be mutually agreed between the institution and expert as per UGC norms

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational qualifications, experience, and selection process will be as per AICTE / UGC / MITS-DU norms

• Existing Assistant Professors selected through AICTE-approved selection committees may be considered for higher level positions subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria
