Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Junior Project Fellow (JPF) Recruitment 2026 | Walk-in Interview | Uttarakhand Forest Department
The Office of Conservator of Forests, Yamuna Circle, Dehradun, Uttarakhand has released an official notification for the engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Junior Project Fellow (JPF) on a purely contractual and temporary basis through Walk-in-Interview.
The engagement is for research and field-level work related to Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR), CAT Plans, Eco-Restoration Works, and Green India Mission (GIM) in various divisions of the Yamuna Circle.

| Junior Project Fellow (JPF) | ₹25,000 per month (for non-NET candidates) + HRA as admissible |

Educational Qualification
🔹 Essential Qualification (For JRF & JPF)
Post Graduate (PG) Degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university:
Forestry
Botany
Zoology
Life Science / Experimental Biology
Environmental Science
Biological Sciences / Wildlife Science
Hydrology / Geology
Allied Science
Remote Sensing & GIS
Geography
Surveying or similar disciplines
👉 NET qualification or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Government departments/agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DCS, DRDO, NHRD, ICMR, IITs, IISER, etc. is required for JRF.
🔹 Additional Qualification (For JPF)
BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute (also eligible for JPF).
Desirable Experience
Minimum 01 year of working experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 35 years
(Age will be calculated as on the date of advertisement)
