Eligibility Criteria and Pay Structure
1. Assistant Professor (Grade-I)
Pay Level: Level-12 (₹1,01,500/- + allowances)
Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant area with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree
Experience: Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. in teaching/research/industry
Age: Preferably below 35 years
2. Assistant Professor (Grade-II)
For candidates with less than 3 years post-Ph.D. experience
Offered on a contractual basis with appropriate salary based on experience
3. Associate Professor
Pay Level: Level-13A2 (₹1,39,600/- + allowances)
Qualification: Ph.D. with excellent academic record
Experience: Minimum 6 years including 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade-I)
Age: Preferably below 45 years
4. Professor
Pay Level: Level-14A (₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200 + allowances)
Qualification: Ph.D. with excellent record in teaching and research
Experience: Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. including 4 years as Associate Professor or equivalent
Age: Preferably below 55 years

Startup Research Grant: Significant initial funding for research
CPDA: ₹3 Lakhs for 3 years (for conferences, memberships, contingencies)
