Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur (IIITN), an Institution of National Importance, is one of the 20 IIITs established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. The institute is supported by the Government of Maharashtra and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as an industry partner.

IIITN offers B.Tech and Ph.D. programs in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), with specializations in AI/ML, Data Science, Gaming Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, and IoT.

Vacancy Details:

Adjunct Assistant Professor (AAP) Positions

1. Department: Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
   No. of Posts: 04
   Essential Qualification:

   • Ph.D. or M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or allied branches.

   • Both B.E./B.Tech and M.Tech must be in CSE or allied branches with First Class or equivalent grade.
     Desirable:

   • Proficiency in teaching specialization-specific courses such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), Data Science & Analytics, Human-Computer Interaction & Gaming Technology (HCIGT), as per the scheme & syllabus available on the Institute website.

2. Department: Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
   No. of Posts: 03
   Essential Qualification:

   • Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

   • Both B.Tech and M.Tech must be in ECE with First Class or equivalent grade.
     Desirable:

   • Proficiency in handling specialization courses related to Internet of Things (IoT), as per the institute curriculum.

3. Department: Basic Sciences (Mathematics)
   No. of Posts: 01
   Essential Qualification:

   • Ph.D. in Mathematics with First Class at both B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels.

Note: These are purely temporary and contractual positions for an initial period of 11 months.

Eligibility & Preferences:

• Candidates with teaching/research/industry experience of at least 1 year preferred

• Ph.D. from reputed institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, INIs) will be given preference

• Must be proficient in handling courses as per B.Tech specialization syllabi available on www.iiitn.ac.in

Salary:

• ₹ 65,000 per month for Ph.D. holders

• ₹ 60,000 per month for Non-Ph.D. candidates
