Job Details

1. Additional General Manager (Legal) – Grade E6

• Pay Scale (IDA): ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000

• Maximum Age Limit: 48 years as on 03 July 2025

• Educational Qualification: LLB or 5-year integrated law degree with 60% marks from a Bar Council of India (BCI) recognized university/institution.

• Desirable Qualification: Master of Laws (LLM)

• Experience: Minimum 16 years of post-qualification legal experience. A maximum of 10 years’ experience as a practicing advocate is allowed. Remaining experience should be in Government, PSU, Law Firms, Listed Companies, or Judicial Services.

• Lower Grade Experience (For Govt/PSU): Minimum 3 years in E5 grade or equivalent pay scale.

• Private Sector Criteria: Present CTC should be ₹23 Lakhs per annum or above.

2. Deputy General Manager (Technical) – Grade E5

• Pay Scale (IDA): ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000

• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

• No. of Posts and Category: 01 Post (Scheduled Caste – SC)

• Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Naval Architecture with minimum 55% marks.

• Desirable Qualification: Postgraduate degree or Management qualification.

• Experience: Minimum 15 years post-qualification technical experience, especially in shipbuilding, ship design, refits, drydocking, repairs, or operations.

• Lower Grade Experience (For Govt/PSU): Minimum 3 years in E4 grade or equivalent.

• Private Sector Criteria: Present CTC should be ₹20 Lakhs per annum or above.

3. Senior Manager (Legal) – Grade E4

• Pay Scale (IDA): ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000

• Maximum Age Limit: 42 years

• Educational Qualification: 5-year integrated LLB or LLB after graduation with 60% marks from a BCI-recognized institution.

• Desirable Qualification: LLM (Master of Laws)

• Experience: Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience, of which a maximum of 7 years can be as a practicing advocate.

• Lower Grade Experience (For Govt/PSU): At least 3 years in E3 grade or equivalent.

• Private Sector Criteria: Present CTC should be ₹17 Lakhs per annum or above.

4. Manager (Submarine) – Grade E3

• Pay Scale (IDA): ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000

• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

• No. of Posts and Category: 04 Posts (UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1)

• Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics with 60% marks (55% for SC) from a recognized university along with Submarine Qualification (Dolphin).

• Experience: Minimum 9 years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in submarine-related work such as installation, maintenance, repair, refit, operation, design, etc.

• Lower Grade Experience (For Govt/PSU): Minimum 3 years in E2 grade or equivalent.

• Private Sector Criteria: Present CTC should be ₹14 Lakhs per annum or above.

5. Manager (Technical) – Grade E3

• Pay Scale (IDA): ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000

• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

• No. of Posts and Category: 14 Posts (UR-4, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-2)

• Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Naval Architecture.

• Desirable Qualification: Postgraduate or MBA in a relevant field.

• Experience: Minimum 9 years post-qualification technical experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, design, operation, etc.

• Lower Grade Experience (For Govt/PSU): Minimum 3 years in E2 grade or equivalent.

• Private Sector Criteria: Present CTC should be ₹14 Lakhs per annum or above.
