Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.
Experience (Essential)
Minimum 5 years of working/sailing experience on Indian/foreign-going ships. OR
Ex-Indian Navy/Coast Guard personnel with minimum 10 years of experience, including 6 years of sailing on naval/coast guard ships.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in industrial/marine training establishments.
Completed “Training for Trainers and Instructors (TOTI)” from DGS-approved institutes.
Age Limit
Maximum age: 62 years as on 09 May 2025 (born on or after 10 May 1963).
Salary and Remuneration

Contract Tenure
Initial 3-year contract, extendable by 2 more years based on performance and organizational need.
Selection Process
Practical Test of 100 marks conducted at CSL, Kochi.
Shortlisting based on eligibility and documents uploaded.
Only shortlisted candidates will proceed to certificate verification and final selection process.

₹ 300/- (non-refundable) for general/OBC candidates.
Exempted: SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
