The Faculty of Planning at CEPT is inviting applications for full-time Teaching Associates for its Foundation Studio 2025, a prestigious program forming the academic base for future planners and urban designers.
Position Details
Position Title: Teaching Associate (Full-Time)
Studio: FP PG Foundation Studio 2025 – Understanding the City
Faculty: Faculty of Planning
Duration: 15 June 2025 – 15 December 2025
Remuneration: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000/month (based on experience and university norms)
Work Type: Full-Time | 5 Days a Week | 8.5 Hours Daily
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Geomatics, Urban Planning, or related urban disciplines
Experience:
Minimum 1 year (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
Skills Required:
Proficiency in GIS, statistics, and visual communication
Software skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, GIS tools
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Key Responsibilities
Assist studio faculty in teaching and evaluation of a 14-student unit
Coordinate with TAs across 12 studio units to ensure parity in pedagogy and grading
Prepare and conduct academic exercises, workshops, and trial runs
Support student engagement, concept clarity, and design thinking
Possibility to be a part of the international Winter School based on performance
Note: This is a full-time academic position. Selected candidates must not engage in any other professional activity during the contract period.
