Job Details:

• Post Name: Ropeway Consultant

• Number of Vacancies: 01

• Location: BRIDCUL, Dehradun (with travel to ropeway sites)

• Contract Type: One year (extendable based on performance)

• Monthly Salary: Up to ₹2,00,000 (Consolidated)

• Additional Benefits: TA/DA as per Uttarakhand Govt. Rules

• Reporting To: GM (Civil), BRIDCUL / DGM/PM (Ropeway), BRIDCUL

Scope of Work:

• Ropeway inspection, feasibility, design review, DPR preparation, construction supervision, and safety compliance.

• Assisting Chief Ropeway Inspector in technical and safety evaluations.

• Support in bid documentation, project planning, quality control, and dispute resolution.

• Review of ropeway project reports and performance appraisal of contractors.

• Ensure alignment with Uttarakhand Ropeway Act, BIS/CEN codes, and relevant policies.

• Project monitoring, report writing, and liaison with multiple stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience:

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor’s in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

• Preferably a Master’s degree in the above fields

Experience Required:

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Govt/Semi-Govt/Private Ltd. Company

• At least 3 years in roles such as Ropeway Consultant, Engineer, DPR preparation, feasibility, supervision, or execution of ropeway projects

Other Requirements:

• Age Limit: Not more than 65 years as of the last date

• IT skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Language: Fluent in English & Hindi (spoken & written)

• Field Readiness: Willing to travel in difficult terrain and remote locations of Uttarakhand
