Recognized as a Centre of Excellence in the skilling ecosystem by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, EDII plays a vital role in fostering entrepreneurship across India. It has pioneered numerous initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, particularly for women, youth, and underserved communities, with a special focus on rural and suburban areas. EDII works in close collaboration with both governmental and corporate partners to mainstream entrepreneurship as a career option and provides training, research, and institution-building services.

Location: Head Office / Regional & Branch Offices (Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, North Eastern States, Odisha, Puducherry, Telangana, Uttarakhand, etc.)

Vacancies: Multiple
Qualification:

• Entrepreneurship / Livelihood Expert: Master’s Degree in Management, Rural Management, Commerce, Behavioural Science, Economics, Agriculture, Social Work, Social Sciences/Humanities, Technology, or related field.

• Project Leader: Master’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in Entrepreneurship Training, MSME Clusters, or Micro Enterprise Promotion.

• Project Manager: Master’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience or freshers may apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting/coordinating capacity-building programmes in entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise promotion.

• Networking and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including funding agencies, government departments, NGOs, and entrepreneurs.

• Preparing project proposals, RFPs, and effective presentations.

• Managing documentation and reporting to sponsoring agencies.

• Generating resources for the Institute’s growth and diversification.

Work Experience and Other Requirements

• Entrepreneurship / Livelihood Expert: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

• Project Leader: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

• Project Manager: 2 years of experience or freshers are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with exceptional qualifications (Ph.D. or equivalent) may be considered for faculty positions on a contractual basis.

Terms of Engagement

Contractual engagement for an initial period of two years, extendable based on performance and requirements.

Remuneration

• Entrepreneurship / Livelihood Expert: Rs. 10-12 lacs

• Project Leader: Rs. 8-10 lacs

• Project Manager: Rs. 6-8 lacs
