Position Details:

1. Project Associate – I (Remote Sensing & GIS; Code: PA101)

• Vacancies: 02

• Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Earth Sciences, Remote Sensing & GIS, Hydrology, or related fields, or BTech/MTech in Remote Sensing with at least 55% marks (or 6.5/10 CGPA) from a recognized university or equivalent.

• Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in ecological/hydrological mapping using remote sensing and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS Imagine).

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.

• Monthly Emolument:

  • Rs. 31,000/month + HRA (for candidates selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent).

  • Rs. 25,000/month + HRA (for other candidates).

2. Project Associate – I (Molecular Biology & NGS; Code: PA102)

• Vacancy: 01

• Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or any other Biological Science subject, or BTech/MTech in Biotechnology with at least 55% marks (or 6.5/10 CGPA) from a recognized university or equivalent.

• Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in molecular biology, genomics-related lab work, handling of digital-PCR, Sanger sequencer, Next Generation Sequencing, and genomic data analysis.

  • Knowledge of Python language and experience in report writing.

• Monthly Emolument:

  • Rs. 35,000/month + HRA (for candidates selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent).

  • Rs. 25,000/month + HRA (for other candidates).

3. Project Associate – II (Bioinformatics; Code: PA101)

• Vacancy: 01

• Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related fields, or BTech/MTech in similar disciplines with at least 55% marks (or 6.5/10 CGPA) from a recognized university or equivalent.

• Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in bioinformatics and computational biology techniques.

• Monthly Emolument:

  • Rs. 35,000/month + HRA (for candidates selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent).

  • Rs. 25,000/month + HRA (for other candidates).

Age Limit:

• Upper Age Limit: 35 Years (as on the date of the interview)

Duration of Appointment:

• The positions are purely temporary and initially for a one-year period.

• The appointment may be extended based on performance and co-terminus with the project, up to a maximum of four years.
