Urban Development Directorate (UDD), Dehradun functions under the Government of Uttarakhand to implement and monitor urban development schemes across the state. The department aims to enhance infrastructure, sanitation, and smart city initiatives. Under the Government of India’s flagship NAMASTE Scheme (National Action for Mechanized Sanitation Ecosystem), UDD is working towards the upliftment of sanitation workers by promoting safety, dignity, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The department is inviting applications from experienced and skilled professionals on a temporary/contractual basis to contribute towards this noble mission.

Responsibilities: Will include coordination of NAMASTE Scheme activities at the state level, liaising with urban local bodies (ULBs), reporting, capacity building, and ensuring smooth execution of scheme objectives.
