Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in English or a related discipline (e.g., Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies)

• Demonstrated research experience with publications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to diversity and academic integrity

• Ability to contribute in one or more of the following areas:

  • American and African-American Literature

  • Migration, Diaspora, and Literature

  • Speculative Fiction

  • Graphic Novels

  • Film Studies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teaching undergraduate & postgraduate English courses

• Delivering language instruction to students across departments

• Supervising student research projects

• Participating in curriculum development and outreach events

• Organizing academic workshops and seminars

• Contributing to the department’s research goals
