The Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE) is a premier laboratory of DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Located in Ahmednagar (now Ahilyanagar), Maharashtra, VRDE is engaged in cutting-edge research and development of light tracked and wheeled defense vehicles. It invites applications from bright and meritorious Indian nationals to work as Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) through a walk-in-interview.

Qualification
Option 1:
BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline with First Division from a recognized university AND a valid GATE score as on the date of the interview.
Option 2:
ME/M.Tech in relevant subject with First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels from a recognized university.

Stipend & Duration
Fellowship Amount: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA (as per DRDO norms)
Tenure: Initially for 2 years, extendable up to 4 years (based on performance review)

Application Process
Download the application form from www.drdo.gov.in.
Fill the form and attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, GATE scorecard, caste certificate (if applicable), and affix a recent passport-size photograph.
Carry all original documents for verification.
Submit your application at the venue between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Shortlisting will be done from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interviews of shortlisted candidates will begin thereafter.
Important Instructions
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Candidates currently working in Govt/PSU/Autonomous bodies must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Carry a valid Govt-issued Photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, Passport).
