The Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology (UCB) is inviting applications for temporary positions under a UCB-funded project titled “Quality Evaluation and Monitoring of Soil & Air of U.S. Nagar, District of Uttarakhand.” The selected candidates will work at the Biotech Bhavan, Haldi, Pantnagar, District-Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.
Job Details:
1. Young Professional – II
No. of Positions: 01
Salary: ₹25,000/- per month (fixed)
Qualification:
Essential: Master’s Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Science / Chemical Science / Environmental Science / Agriculture.
Desirable: Experience in water quality monitoring, environmental research, fieldwork, and data collection.
2. Young Professional – I
No. of Positions: 01
Salary: ₹15,000/- per month (fixed)
Qualification:
Essential: B.Sc. in Life Science / Environmental Science.
Desirable: Experience in environmental research and fieldwork.
3. Lab Assistant
No. of Positions: 01
Salary: ₹10,000/- per month (fixed)
Qualification:
Essential: 12th with Science Stream.

Terms and Conditions:
The positions are purely temporary for one year and may be extended until the project is completed.
Selected candidates cannot claim permanent employment at UCB.
Place of Work: Regional Centre Patwadangar and UCB, Haldi.
Age Limit: Up to 42 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Uttarakhand Government norms).
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
The position may be terminated anytime based on performance.
