Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Bioinformatics, IT, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, or related fields with at least 55% marks or equivalent grading.
Desirable Qualification:
- Ph.D./M.Phil in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of research experience in the related field.
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2025):
- General Candidates: Maximum 30 years
- SC/ST Candidates: Maximum 35 years
- OBC Candidates: Maximum 33 years
- Government Employees: Relaxation up to 5 years
Salary & Pay Scale:
- Pay Band – 2: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800/- + Grade Pay ₹4,200/- (Pre-revised)
- 7th Pay Commission Level: Pay Level 6

Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of:
✅ Written Examination – Conducted at multiple centers depending on the number of applicants.
✅ Proficiency Test – Shortlisted candidates will undergo an additional assessment.
📌 Note: The written exam conducted on 17 March 2024 for Advt. No. 1/DR/2023 was canceled due to administrative reasons. Candidates who had previously applied need not apply again.
