Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Assistant Professor (Grade-I)
✔ Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with first-class or equivalent in preceding degrees.
✔ Experience: Minimum three years of teaching/research/industry experience.
✔ Expertise: Strong research publications, teaching experience, and Ph.D. supervision capabilities.
2️⃣ Assistant Professor (Grade-II)
✔ Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with first-class or equivalent in preceding degrees.
✔ Experience: Less than three years of post-Ph.D. experience.
📌 Department-specific qualifications and specialization areas are available in Annexure-I of the official notification.
Salary & Benefits
✔ Assistant Professor (Grade-I): ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400 (Academic Pay Level 12)
✔ Assistant Professor (Grade-II): ₹57,700 – ₹98,200 (Academic Pay Level 10)
✔ Allowances: DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other Central Government benefits.
✔ Professional Development Allowance: ₹3,00,000 per three years for research, conferences, and memberships.
✔ Additional Benefits: Faculty housing, medical facilities, child education allowance, pension scheme, and relocation support.
New faculty members from abroad are eligible for relocation reimbursement up to ₹2,50,000.
Selection Process
Step 1: Screening of applications based on academic credentials, research contributions, and experience.
