1️⃣ Junior Manager (Contract) – 10 Vacancies

Consolidated Pay: ₹30,000 per month

✅ Disciplines & Educational Qualifications:

• Production (2 Posts): BE/B.Tech in Production/Mechanical/Automobile/Manufacturing Engineering
• Quality (3 Posts): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering
• Design (1 Post): BE/B.Tech in Design/Tool Engineering or M.Tech in Defence Technology – Combat Vehicle Engineering
• Human Resources (1 Post): MBA/PG Degree/Diploma in HR/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations
• Safety (1 Post): BE/B.Tech + M.Tech in Industrial Safety Engineering OR 2 years factory experience + Diploma in Industrial Safety
• Finance & Accounts (1 Post): Degree in Commerce/Economics + CA/CMA/MBA in Finance
• Marketing & Export (1 Post): BE/B.Tech + MBA/PG in Marketing/Foreign Trade/Economics/Business Economics

✔ Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

2️⃣ Junior Technician (Contract) – 70 Vacancies

Consolidated Pay: ₹21,000 per month

✅ Technical Trades & Required Qualification:

• Fitter General (58 Posts): NAC/NTC in Fitter General/Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance/Tool & Die Maker
• Machinist (11 Posts): NAC/NTC in Machinist
• Welder (1 Post): NAC/NTC in Welder Gas & Electric

✔ Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant trade.

Upper Age Limit (as on last date of application):
✔ Junior Manager (Contract) – 28 years
✔ Junior Technician (Contract) – 28 years
✔ Age Relaxation: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – As per government norms

 Selection Process

✔ Junior Manager (Contract): Shortlisting based on academic marks (85% weightage) + Interview (15% weightage)
✔ Junior Technician (Contract): Shortlisting based on NTC/NAC marks (100% weightage) + Trade Test
✔ Preference: Ex-Trade Apprentices of AVNL units will get an additional 5 marks during shortlisting

Interview/Trade Test Venue: Engine Factory Avadi, Chennai

 Salary & Benefits

✔ Junior Manager (Contract): ₹30,000 per month
✔ Junior Technician (Contract): ₹21,000 per month
✔ Dearness Allowance (DA) & Special Allowance: As per company norms
✔ Annual Increment: 3% of basic pay
✔ Other Benefits: ₹3,000 per month for medical, conveyance, and other expenses
✔ Accommodation: Provided on availability (HRA not applicable)
✔ Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, and Industrial Canteen Facilities

Note: No pension or permanent employment benefits will be provided.
