Ramdeobaba University (RBU), Nagpur invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for Regular, Contractual and Adjunct Faculty Positions in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

Detailed Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC/AICTE Norms)

1️⃣ Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

Educational Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one degree
  OR

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline (as per AICTE regulations)

Experience:

• Fresh Ph.D. candidates may apply

• Preference will be given to candidates with teaching/research/industry experience

• Strong knowledge in core areas of Computer Science such as:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

  • Data Science

  • Cyber Security

  • Cloud Computing

  • Full Stack Development

  • IoT / Emerging Technologies

2️⃣ Associate Professor – CSE

Educational Qualification:

• Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline

• Master’s degree with First Class

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience

• At least 2 years post-Ph.D. experience

• Research publications in SCI/Scopus indexed journals preferred

• Experience in guiding projects/research scholars desirable

3️⃣ Professor – CSE

Educational Qualification:

• Ph.D. in relevant field

• First Class in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of teaching/research/industry experience

• Minimum 5 years as Associate Professor

• Significant research publications in reputed journals

• Experience in research projects, consultancy, and academic leadership

4️⃣ Professor of Practice

Eligibility:

• Distinguished industry professionals with significant professional experience (generally 15+ years)

• May not require Ph.D. (as per UGC guidelines for Professor of Practice)

• Expertise in specialized domains such as:

  • AI/ML

  • FinTech

  • Industry 4.0

  • Software Architecture

  • Advanced Computing Systems

Role:

• Bridging industry-academia gap

• Delivering industry-oriented courses

• Mentoring students and startups

• Supporting research and innovation initiatives

Pay Scale

• AICTE/UGC Pay Scales applicable

• Higher remuneration for deserving and experienced candidates
