The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification for multiple Technical and Non-Academic posts.

Online applications are invited for the following Technical positions:

1️⃣ Deputy Director – Cyber Security / Cyber Defence-  1 Post

Age Limit:

• Not more than 50 years

• No upper age limit for Central/State/UT Govt/University employees

Qualification:

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline
  OR

• Master’s in Cyber Security / CS / IT / Digital Forensics / AI / Network Security / Information Security / Cyber Forensics / CSE etc.
  OR

• BE/B.Tech in CSE / ECE / IT / EEE / ICT / Cyber Security

Experience:

• Ph.D. → 7 years

• Master’s → 10 years

• BE/B.Tech → 12 years

(Experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Electronics etc.)

Desirable:

• Cyber Security experience

• Certifications: ISMS-LA, CEH, CHFI, ISO 27001, SANS

2️⃣ Deputy Director – Forensic Psychology – 1 Post

Age Limit: Not more than 50 years

Qualification:

• Ph.D. OR

• Master’s in Forensic Psychology / Psychology / Criminology / Neuropsychology / Clinical Psychology / Investigative Psychology

Experience:

• Ph.D. → 7 years

• Master’s → 10 years

Desirable:

• Experience in Polygraph, BEOS, SDS, Eye Detect, LVA case analysis

3️⃣ Assistant Director – NDPS – 1 Post

Age Limit: Not more than 45 years

Qualification:

• Ph.D. OR

• Master’s in Forensic Science (Forensic Chemistry specialization) / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Forensic Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / QA

Experience:

• Ph.D. → 4 years

• Master’s → 7 years

Desirable:

• Narcotic Drugs Testing experience

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & ISO 9001:2015

4️⃣ Senior Scientific Officer – Cyber Security / Cyber Defence – 1 Post

Age Limit: Not more than 40 years

Qualification:

• Ph.D. / Master’s / BE-B.Tech in relevant Cyber/IT/CSE fields

Experience:

• Ph.D. → 2 years

• Master’s → 5 years

• BE/B.Tech → 7 years

Desirable:

• Cyber Security certification (CEH, ISO 27001, SANS etc.)

5️⃣ Senior Scientific Officer – NDPS- 1 Post

Age Limit: Not more than 40 years

Qualification:

• Ph.D. OR

• Master’s in Forensic Chemistry / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacy

Experience:

• Ph.D. → 2 years

• Master’s → 5 years

Desirable:

• Narcotic Drugs Testing

• ISO/IEC 17025 & ISO 9001 knowledge

6️⃣ Junior Scientific Officer – Ballistics– 1 Post

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years

Qualification:

• Master’s in Forensic Science (Forensic Physics) / Physics / Mathematics / Ballistics

Experience:

• 3 years in Ballistics analysis/research

• Ph.D. considered as max 3 years research experience

Desirable:

• Experience in Forensic Science Lab

7️⃣ Junior Scientific Officer – Forensic Accounting – 1 Post

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years

Qualification:

• Master’s in Forensic Accounting / Finance / Commerce / Data Analytics
  OR

• CA / ICWA

Experience:

• 3 years in Auditing / Forensic Accounting

Desirable:

• Ph.D.

• PG Diploma in Forensic Accounting

• Fraud Investigation experience

8️⃣ Laboratory Assistant-24 Post

Age Limit:

• 18 to 27 years

• Govt servants relaxable up to 40 years

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Forensic Science / Criminology / Physics / Maths / Botany / Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Anthropology / Genetics / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacology / Pharmacy
