The ESSO-National Centre for Polar & Ocean Research (NCPOR) is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. NCPOR is the nodal agency responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the Indian Polar Programme. The Centre conducts basic and applied research in various disciplines related to polar and ocean sciences and undertakes scientific programs of national and international importance.

• Tenure: Initially for one year (extendable based on performance and requirement)

• Salary: ₹37,000/- + HRA (as applicable)

• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (as on the date of interview)

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or an AICTE-approved institution.

Desirable Experience:

• Minimum one year post-qualification experience in:

  • Planning and execution of electrical infrastructure and projects

  • Handling of systems including power cabling, DG set, UPS, pumps, HVAC, fire alarms, and fire-fighting systems

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of new electrical infrastructure projects

• Maintenance of existing electrical facilities

• Preparation of estimates, designs/drawings, and tender documents

• Bill processing and payment documentation handling

• Reporting/Registration Time: From 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Entry will not be allowed after 11:30 AM)
