Title of Project: Genetic dissection of rancidity and goitrogenic c-glycosyl flavone biosynthesis genes to enhance the shelf-life and nutritional quality of pearl millet flour.

Duration: Initially for one year (extendable annually)

Fellowship: ₹42,000/- + 27% HRA per month

Qualification Details

Essential Qualification:

• MSc / MTech in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genomics, Agriculture, Pharmacy, or related subjects.

• National level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE, etc., qualified.

Desirable Qualification:

• Experience in plant transformation, molecular biology, biochemistry, protein isolation/purification, confocal microscopy, and gene editing techniques.

• Candidates with 1–2 years of research experience in a relevant area preferred.

• Candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
